The Blanket Statement

Alexis and Morris have long been big enthusiasts of any sort of balladry, slow-jam, or indie-alternative crooning. In the wee hours of the night or during an arduous study session, there is nothing more soothing than spinning a Simon and Garfunkel record, checking back in with Phoebe Bridgers, or basking in SZA's warm embrace. Our love for this late-night sound knows no genre bounds. As long as there's a simmering acoustic guitar, a wispy synth pad, or a set of the most gut-wrenching lyrics you've ever heard, we're game. As such, we feel that "The Blanket Statement" is the perfect show for the ever-busy Yale community. From late nights in Bass to somber walks home from Science Hill, sometimes all we need is a musical respite to get us back on track.
