Soapboxers – a political talk show specializing in interviews, policy deep dives, and quick takes on news of the day – is hosted by Peter Roth and Bennett Byerley. The former is a comic & news junkie, the latter is the target of the former's soft bullying. Think Pod Save America – but with a global focus and double the Jon Lovett snark. 

Peter is an ultra moderate. Bennett is as far left as they come. But they share a deep, twisted, sardonic love for the news. 

They'll explain the explosive growth of Boko Haram in northern Nigeria or plunge into the ins and outs of the DACA debate, all while keeping you pleasantly entertained. 

Bennett is one of the founders of VERB energy. Peter served as the YDN's campaign embed in 2016, following Trump around the country for 4 months, and went one to work with CBS News in sub-Saharan Africa. In other words, Peter plans to live in Bennett's basement. But they also know their shit. 

Soapboxers is a family – a bitter, angsty, lovable family of relatively competent politicos.
