frontline dispatches from the idgaf war

people at yale care about a lot of things. organic chemistry. analytic philosophy. air conditioning??? IDGAF!!! each week ash w and DESL will share their frustrations with what the yale community (or a subset of it) is choosing to care about, and instead direct listeners to what they SHOULD care about: a carefully-curated, eclectic, and ephemeral collection of rich texts. forget the econ 115 curve — why are some people given oranges in commons, and why must others ask? why are women given scraps, and men cornucopias? rather than question why you’ve waited 6 months for a yale health appointment, consider psychoanalyzing why everyone in your seminar is either online shopping or playing chess. long gone are the days of reading marx and nietzsche — wander down to Koffee and hear a Moncler puffer x Golden Goose sneaker-wearing sorority girl remark, “this is soooo hippy” (this is a real thing that happened). Meditations and vignettes like these will be interspersed with what music we’ve had on rotation — expect boygenius & big thief, tyler & kendrick, arca & azealia, or maybe a dramatic reading of ram ranch! who knows!!! we dgaf!
