Are the Trump Tariffs a Dangerous Threat to the Global Economic System or fair retaiation for unfair trade practieves by China - We look at both sides with the former Chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia & Now at the Yale School of Management versus the former Chairman of Nucor Steel and who led the Trump transition team at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

Dan DiMicco is the former CEO & Chairman Emeritus of Nucor – a company that was in deep trouble when he came aboard, but which has not had a single layoff in 40 years. He led Nucor to record profits. He was appointed to the U.S. Manufacturing Council in 2008 by the Secretary of Commerce. The Harvard Business Review included him in its 2010 “Top 100 Best Performing CEOs”. He was named to Industry Magazine’s “Manufacturing Hall of Fame” in 2011. Dan was the Top Performing US Steel Company CEO.

Stephen Roach was the former Chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia and the Firm's Chief Economist. He is currently a Senior Fellow at Yale University's Jackson Institute of Global Affairs and a Senior Lecturer at the Yale School of Management. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he served on the Research Staff of the Federal Reserve Board.
