Darryl Strawberry was a power-hitting outfielder with the big smooth swing. A star for the 1986 World Champion New York Mets. He played also for the Dodgers, San Francisco Giants and the Yankees. He hit 335 Home Runs and had exactly 1,000 RBIs over a 17 year career and was en route to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame when his career was derailed by substance-abuse problems.

His new Book, is not a baseball book…it’s written with addiction experts – “Don’t Give Up on Me: Shedding Light on Addiction”.
