11/29/23 - Getting High

Deep within the forests of Eastern Canada, a community exists that reveres height with a religious fervor. This includes height in all forms. From the July festival, when the year's Top Boy climbs the central tower into the clouds and is never seen again, to the the elaborate weather balloon mass funeral rituals, there is something to interest all listeners. 

Learn about the new names that people take on when they find their personal HEIGHT whether that height is the peak of Mt. Everest, the top of a nearby oak tree, or deep in the stratosphere. (Ex. WOOT, SHWOOOP, and GRRRRRRRRM.) 

Take some time to get high in the coming days and perhaps visit the community if you are inclined. Between "Woot" O'Shannahan's charismatic leadership and the experience of climbing one of the rickety towers, you likely won't be leaving.
