It’s almost that time, friends. Just over an hour. Tonight, your homies mudkip, bamboo, and Miss T will be playing around with the word “future.” As in Odd. or Sex/LoveSounds. Or whatever. Regardless, the future will be awesome because at the moment, our show is in it.

We’ve kept you waiting, but now the wait is over. Your best friends on the internet have returned from the abyss. bamboo, mudkip, and Miss T have missed you. Wordplay/playworD is back with a vengeance for Part II. In honor of our back-to-back swag, the first word of the season is “TWO.” That’s right, the number.

Where are we going, dear listener? Which way does bamboo’s beard point tonight? Expect the Antlers, RJD2, Dirty Projectors, and more. Maybe some famous double albums, maybe some sophomore slumps, maybe Miss T’s favorite song from when she was 2?

Wordplay/playworD tonight at 11:00pm EST, coming at you from Bamboo, Miss T, and Mudkip.

The word? Post-Structuralism, with a little bit of “doorknob” and “face-hole” thrown in since y’all asked for it. Will it make sense? Who knows. ”As soon as there is language, generality has entered the scene.” Tell us who said that tonight and you can pick a song or next week’s theme or something of similarly incalculable value.
