End Notes

Every week, we talk to people who are facing the end of the world. There are no shortages of reasons: the global pandemic, climate change, democratic dissolution, systemic racism and mass incarceration all threaten the sustenance of our society, lives, and world. Yet we continue to live our lives, go to college, write, read, research, celebrate, and so much more. Why? We thus set out to explore how people orient themselves at the end of this world (literal, metaphorical, existential, metaphysical, etc.) and prepare--or not--for what new phoenix will rise in its ashes.
